Brazilian winger Raphinha has been voted La Liga’s Player of the Year after a standout season that saw Barcelona clinch the domestic double.
The 28-year-old, now in his third season with Barça since his move from Leeds United, delivered an impressive return of 18 goals and nine assists.
Known for his relentless work rate, quick dribbling, and strong defensive tracking, Raphinha was instrumental in Barcelona’s success on both domestic fronts.
Teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, another key figure in the squad, was awarded La Liga’s Under-23 Player of the Year, highlighting the blend of experience and youth driving the club forward.
Despite speculation over a possible summer exit, Raphinha remained at Camp Nou. New head coach Hansi Flick not only retained him but named him club captain and extended his contract until July 2028.
