Former aviation minister Chidoka resigns from PDP

Former Aviation Minister Osita Chidoka has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating that he is stepping away from politics to focus on his non-profit organization, the Athena Centre.

Chidoka, who previously served as the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), made the announcement during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday.

“I officially submitted my resignation letter to my ward in Anambra State earlier today. I am leaving the PDP and stepping away from politics for now to concentrate on the Athena Centre,” Chidoka revealed.

He added that he plans to collaborate with other Nigerians dedicated to reforming the country’s political system, advocating for evidence-based governance and supporting systemic change.

Chidoka’s resignation is effective immediately, marking the end of his affiliation with the PDP.
