Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has rejoined South African Premier Soccer League side Chippa United, five months after leaving the club by mutual consent.
Chippa United announced the Nigeria international’s return ahead of the 2026/27 season in a post on its official X account on Sunday.
“Chippa United Football Club is delighted to welcome Stanley Nwabali back to the Chilli Boys,” the club wrote.
“After taking time away, Stanley Nwabali returns to the Eastern Cape, and we are pleased to welcome him back to the club.”
The 30-year-old goalkeeper returns to the Eastern Cape outfit after several months away from competitive football. He parted ways with Chippa United in February 2026 following a mutual agreement between both parties.
Nwabali is expected to strengthen the club’s squad as it prepares for the new PSL campaign.
