Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Al Nassr training in Riyadh sporting a striking copper-yellow hairstyle, days after marrying his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, in a private ceremony in Portugal.

The Portuguese forward shared photos of himself in Al Nassr’s training kit on social media on Thursday, captioning the post simply, “Back”. The images showed the 41-year-old sporting a new copper-yellow hairstyle, a clear departure from the dark brown look he had maintained for years, including during Portugal’s 2026 World Cup campaign.

Ronaldo returned to the squad following Portugal’s exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where they were eliminated by Spain in the Round of 16. He had been granted additional time off by Al Nassr following the tournament and his private civil wedding to Rodríguez on August 11 in Cascais, Portugal.

The intimate ceremony was attended by their five children. The couple, who have been together for nearly a decade, confirmed their marriage by sharing a photograph of their wedding rings on social media.

Ronaldo returns to Al Nassr after helping the Riyadh-based club win the Saudi Pro League title last season. He scored 28 league goals as Al Nassr finished top of the table with 86 points, two points ahead of rivals Al Hilal.

The triumph ended Al Nassr’s wait for a league title since 2019 and gave Ronaldo his first major domestic trophy with the club since joining in late 2022.

Al Nassr coach Ange Postecoglou and Ronaldo’s teammates welcomed the captain back during a team training session, applauding him and acknowledging his recent marriage. The club also shared images of his return, prompting a strong reaction from fans online.

Ronaldo is now preparing for the new Saudi Pro League season, with Al Nassr set to begin its title defence against Al Fateh on August 15.

Fans were quick to react to the forward’s new look and return to training.

“Started off a single man, now a married man. Congratulations Cristiano! May your new home last your lifetime,” one fan, #SumolaIdowu, wrote.

Another supporter, #Symplyher14, welcomed him back, saying: “Welcome back to the pitch my GOAT!”

Other reactions included “That hair Wow!”, “This is absolute GOLD” and “the GOAT is backkkkk congratulations on your wedding.”

Ronaldo’s return marks the start of another chapter in his decorated career as he continues to pursue major milestones with Al Nassr, including the long-standing target of reaching 1,000 career goals.
