Sale of JAMB direct entry forms commences March 12

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the 2025 Direct Entry (DE) form sales starting on Wednesday, March 12.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday and signed by JAMB’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin.

According to the statement, the registration process is essential for individuals holding degrees, diplomas, or A-level certificates who wish to further their education at their chosen universities.

“The launch of the DE form sales follows the successful conclusion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application process, which ended on Saturday, March 8, 2025,” the statement read.

JAMB also reported a total of 2,030,627 registrations for the 2025 UTME, 200,115 for the Mock-UTME, and 630 applications for the trial mock exams.

The board stressed the importance of complying with all entry requirements, warning that severe penalties will be imposed on applicants who provide false information.

“A special committee will be tasked with verifying all submitted advanced-level qualifications, and any fraudulent results will result in prosecution. Additionally, institutions are advised to directly verify certificates before considering admissions,” the statement added.

JAMB also clarified that registration can only be done at designated JAMB Professional Registration Centres (PRC).
