Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, October 2, 2026

The Nigerian naira remained relatively stable across the official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) and the parallel market on October 2, 2026.

At the official market, the US dollar traded at about ₦1,328.17, close to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s reference rate of ₦1,329.16. The marginal difference from the previous session suggests limited movement in the official market as liquidity conditions remain closely managed.

In the parallel market, the dollar was bought at around ₦1,375 and sold for as much as ₦1,390.

Currency traders reported steady demand for foreign currency in cash transactions, keeping the gap between the parallel and official market rates within a relatively narrow range.

The continued stability comes as market participants respond to prevailing liquidity conditions and broader economic indicators.
