Big Brother Naija Season 11 officially premiered on Sunday, with organisers unveiling the first 24 housemates set to compete for the record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize.
The live launch show, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, introduced each contestant to viewers before they entered Biggie’s house following brief interviews.
The contestants come from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, with many promising entertainment, strategy, drama and, for some, romance.
- Tram
Tram, 24, is a Lagos-based streamer who describes himself as tenacious and fiercely competitive. He says he is entering the house with one goal—to win—and has no interest in romance or distractions.
- Martins
Martins, 30, is a visual storyteller and model from Kogi State. He says he is swapping the runway for Biggie’s house in search of fun and competition. He also claims to have a hidden talent for reading minds.
- Abi
Abi, a chef and model from Osun State, says she is bringing humour, confidence and plenty of “sauce” into the house.
- Chimsom Chuka
The 27-year-old pharmacist from Anambra State describes himself as patient, authentic and funny. He says he thrives under pressure and looks forward to making the most of the BBNaija experience.
- Keivo
Keivo, 27, is a web developer from Benue State who calls himself a jack of all trades. He enjoys gaming, painting and drawing, and says he is open to finding love but not thinking about marriage.
- Mercedes
Mercedes, 26, is a massage therapist and concierge business owner from Delta State. She says she is entering the competition with confidence, ambition and what she calls “boss energy.”
- Kamsy
Kamsy, 24, is an event planner and gift curator who admits she doesn’t forgive easily. She promises to bring style, ambition, humour and a healthy dose of drama.
- Sultex
Sultex, 24, is a dancer and choreographer from Lagos. A self-confessed people pleaser, he enjoys gaming, football and table tennis. He says he cannot tolerate dishonesty and is ready to speak his mind.
- Aikou
Aikou, 25, is a freelance teacher and web developer based in Abuja. A self-described introvert and book lover, he says he is open to finding love again but has little patience for dishonesty.
- Flora
Flora is a fashion-conscious makeup entrepreneur who says honesty is one of her strongest values. She promises to keep the house lively, although she describes her love life as complicated.
- Bells
Bells, 22, describes herself as resilient, independent and organised. A self-confessed foodie and neat freak, she says she is still in love with her high school sweetheart.
- Temi Nkem
Temi Nkem, 21, says she has no interest in romance or cooking and intends to play the game entirely on her own terms.
- Gerald
Gerald, 23, is a Lagos-based on-air personality who describes himself as talented, outspoken and adventurous. He says he is an open book and dislikes dishonesty.
- Oyin
Oyin, 22, is a sales entrepreneur and model who says people often misjudge her. She enters the house determined to prove them wrong while keeping her eyes firmly on the prize.
- Sheba
Sheba is a gym enthusiast and proud mother who says she is bringing warmth, positive energy and an open heart into the competition. She is also open to finding love.
- Araga
Araga is a fashion model who calls himself a “king” and “vibe curator.” He says he is in the house for the money, excitement and possibly romance.
- Ricky
Ricky, 33, is a writer from Port Harcourt who describes himself as a “bad boy by necessity.” While he enjoys romance, he says he does not necessarily believe in love.
- Nomy
Nomy, 26, is a fashion designer from Anambra State who believes her confidence and charisma will make her one of the standout personalities this season.
- Barry
Barry, 26, is a civil engineer and fashion designer based in Abuja. Competitive and stylish, he says he is open to love but has zero tolerance for disrespect.
- Neche
Neche, 25, says she is bringing brains, beauty and confidence into Biggie’s house as she competes for the grand prize.
- Yusuf
Yusuf, 25, is an actor from Kogi State who describes himself as confident, unpredictable and emotional. A believer in love, he hopes to earn the title of the house’s “loverboy.”
- Goddessa
Goddessa, 30, is a musician from Abia State. Bold and spontaneous, she says she has no time for liars or romance and intends to dominate every room she enters.
- Bluethophia
Bluethophia, 22, is a photographer, model and student from Adamawa State. She says she is bringing quiet confidence, Northern charm and sharp instincts into the house.
- Cassi
Cassi, 27, is an entrepreneur and actor from Abia State with interests ranging from painting and drawing to chiropractic therapy. He admits that being overly organised could become both a strength and a weakness in the house.
The launch show continues, with more activities expected as the housemates settle into life in Biggie’s house.
