As residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) went to the polls for area council elections, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike was on the ground to oversee electoral activities.
His first stop was the polling units at Lagos Street, Garki 2, where he observed some traders who had opened for business. He promptly instructed them to close and comply with electoral guidelines.
Wike encouraged citizens to exercise their civic duty by going out to vote, emphasizing the importance of responsible participation in the democratic process.
He also visited Karu Chief’s Palace and other locations across the territory to monitor the ongoing elections.
