The President’s return was confirmed in a statement issued Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. According to the statement, Tinubu wrapped up his vacation earlier than scheduled and would resume official duties immediately.

Tinubu departed Nigeria on September 4, with plans to spend time in both France and the United Kingdom as part of his annual break.

While in Paris, the President held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering partnerships aimed at mutual prosperity and global stability.
