Victor Osimhen scored a stunning hat-trick to lead Galatasaray to a commanding 4-0 victory over Antalyaspor on Friday night, with Álvaro Morata also getting on the scoresheet from the penalty spot.
Osimhen opened the scoring in the 30th minute, converting a precise assist from Morata. Just before the break, Morata doubled the lead with a penalty in the 45th minute, and in injury time, Osimhen struck again, this time assisted by B. Yılmaz, to make it 3-0.
The Nigerian forward completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute, with Y. Akgün providing the assist.
This remarkable performance took Osimhen’s season tally to 20 goals in 22 league appearances, securing his position as the top scorer in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli after the fourth match of the season, Osimhen has been in scintillating form, with 26 goals and 5 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray’s dominant display further solidified their place at the top of the Süper Lig standings. They now lead with 71 points from 27 matches, extending their unbeaten run to 21 wins and 6 draws. Their closest rivals, Fenerbahçe, trail with 61 points from 25 matches.
