Tinubu appoints Abiola’s son SSA on linguistics & foreign matters

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Jami’u Abiola as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Matters, effective from November 14, 2024.

In a statement issued by Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information & Public Relations, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the appointment is in accordance with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, as amended.

Prior to his new role, Jami’u Abiola served as the Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Office of the Vice President.

President Tinubu has tasked Abiola with collaborating closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leveraging his experience to effectively contribute to the country’s diplomatic and linguistic initiatives.
