American YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, has married content creator and author Thea Booysen in an intimate ceremony in the Caribbean.
The 28-year-old, who is the world’s most-subscribed YouTuber with more than 500 million subscribers, announced the wedding on Instagram, sharing a series of photographs from the celebration.
The images showed the couple in different outfits throughout the event, including their traditional wedding attire. Donaldson wore a tailored suit, while Booysen appeared in a long lace wedding gown before changing into a shorter dress later in the celebration. The pair also posed in matching white casual outfits believed to have been worn during the reception.
Sharing his excitement with fans, Donaldson described the occasion as the happiest day of his life.
“I found Mrs Beast and it was the best day of my life,” he wrote.
Reports said the wedding took place on British billionaire Richard Branson’s private Necker Island in the Caribbean, with about 70 family members and close friends in attendance.
The week-long celebration reportedly began on July 14, with guests taking part in activities including snorkelling and kitesurfing before the couple exchanged vows. The private ceremony was officiated by a family friend who is an ordained minister.
Donaldson and Booysen began their relationship after meeting during a trip to South Africa in 2022. Booysen was introduced to the YouTube star through a mutual friend, who invited her to join them for dinner, and the pair later started dating.
The couple announced their engagement on Christmas Day in 2024.
