Omoni Oboli’s movie, 'Love in Every Word'
Nigerian actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has received recognition from the Nigerian presidency for her latest film, Love In Every Word.

Fegho Umunubo, Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy, congratulated Oboli, along with lead actors Uzor Arukwe and Bambam, for their exceptional work in a post shared on Instagram Friday.

Since its release on YouTube two weeks ago, the film has garnered over 16 million views and is trending on social media, with users incorporating phrases like “Odogwu paranran” and “Achalugo” into memes and posts.

Despite a brief setback when the film was temporarily removed from YouTube due to a copyright claim, it quickly regained traction, with Arukwe’s standout performance particularly resonating with viewers.

Umunubo described the film as a “captivating masterpiece” and praised its achievement of over 15 million views, predicting it would soon exceed 30 million. He wrote, “Huge congratulations to #OmoniOboli for creating a masterpiece that has captivated Nigerians! Reaching 15 million views is impressive, and with this momentum, 30 million views and beyond seem inevitable.”

He also praised the lead cast, Arukwe and Bambam, for their outstanding performances, adding, “Your talent, dedication, and passion are truly inspiring. Thank you for pushing the boundaries of the Nigerian film industry. Here’s to more success!”
