Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen is looking to get clearance from doctors ahead of the club’s trip to Atalanta this weekend.
Osimhen has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury on international duty last month.
The striker has missed the Serie A champions’ last six games across all competitions as a result of the setback.
The Nigerian had a personalised training and gym session last week.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli doctors will look to step up his recovery in the next two days ahead of Saturday’s game against Atalanta.
The 24-year-old is expected to be included in Napoli’s squad for the game billed for the Gewiss Stadium.
Osimhen has scored six times in eight league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
