As of Monday, June 29, 2026, $100 exchanged for about ₦137,922 at the official Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate, equivalent to ₦1,379.22 per US dollar.
The Central Bank of Nigeria calculates the NFEM rate using the volume-weighted average of transactions conducted in the official foreign exchange market, making it the country’s benchmark exchange rate.
Actual exchange rates may vary slightly across commercial banks, bureaux de change, and other foreign exchange dealers, reflecting differences in market demand and supply.
In the parallel market, commonly known as the black market, the naira traded at around ₦1,390 to the dollar for buying, while selling rates ranged between ₦1,400 and ₦1,405, depending on location, transaction size, and dealer quotations.
