Drake drops three albums at once

Canadian rapper and singer, Drake
Drake has made a dramatic return to the music scene with the release of a massive new project package comprising three albums and 43 tracks spanning nearly two and a half hours.

The Canadian rap superstar had initially announced the Friday release of his latest album, Iceman. However, fans were surprised when two additional companion projects — Habibti and Maid of Honour — arrived alongside it.

The release marks one of Drake’s most ambitious drops yet, coming after months of maintaining a relatively low profile following his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar. The rivalry ended with Lamar’s widely acclaimed diss track Not Like Us, while Drake’s lawsuit against his record label was later dismissed.

Several major artists feature across the expansive project, including Future, 21 Savage and Sexyy Red.

Despite the new direction, Drake appears unwilling to fully leave past rivalries behind. On the track Make Them Remember, he takes aim at Lamar, mocking the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper’s height — a recurring point of tension during their lyrical battle.

Lamar, who performed Not Like Us before a massive global audience during the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in February 2025, is not the only figure targeted on the albums.

According to multiple media reviews, Drake also fires shots at Jay-Z, J. Cole, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky and even NBA legend LeBron James.
