Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has been disqualified from the reality show following a physical altercation with fellow contestant, Sultana.
The announcement was made by Biggie on Thursday after an emergency meeting convened in the main lounge. Faith was instructed to leave the house immediately.
The disqualification stemmed from a confrontation during a group task, where tensions flared between Faith and Sultana. The clash began after Sultana accused Faith of being overbearing and attempting to dominate the group, despite the task being unrelated to his medical background.
Matters escalated when Faith forcefully pulled a basket containing the team’s materials, causing Sultana to fall. She reportedly sustained an injury to her hand during the incident.
Fellow housemate Kaybobo intervened briefly and retrieved the basket from Faith, but the tension lingered. A visibly upset Sultana later stated she could no longer work with him in the same group.
Big Brother’s management confirmed that Faith’s actions violated the show’s strict no-violence policy, which prohibits any form of physical aggression. The rule book — specifically Article 18, Subsection 1 — clearly forbids violence, provocation, bullying, goading, and victimisation. Disciplinary actions for such breaches range from strikes to immediate disqualification.
Faith’s exit marks the latest disciplinary measure in what has been dubbed the “10/10 season” of BBNaija.
This is not the first time a housemate has faced disqualification for violent conduct. In 2019, Tacha was removed from the show after physically assaulting Mercy, including shoving, pushing, and pulling her hair. Mercy was issued two strikes for provocation.
In 2020, Erica was disqualified following a string of infractions, including verbally attacking housemates, denying the Deputy Head of House access to the lounge, and repeated rule violations, despite prior warnings.
Similarly, in 2022, Beauty Tukura — a former Miss Nigeria — was disqualified less than two weeks into the show after damaging property and assaulting fellow housemate Groovy. She had previously received a strike for an earlier incident involving Ilebaye.
Other housemates previously disqualified from BBNaija for similar misconduct include Kemen Ekerete, Khloe Abiri, and Kelvin Brouillette (K-Brule).
Big Brother maintains a zero-tolerance stance on physical violence, reserving the right to enforce penalties as deemed appropriate.
