US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a landmark technology partnership on Thursday, aimed at deepening collaboration in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and nuclear energy.
Speaking at his official country residence, Chequers, during Trump’s state visit to the UK, Starmer described the deal as “the biggest investment package of its kind in British history,” hailing it as “groundbreaking.”
The visit has resulted in major investment pledges from leading US tech firms and financial institutions, committing a combined £150 billion ($205 billion) to the UK economy over the coming years.
