The newly appointed Assistant Coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Akin Olowokere, tragically passed away on Monday morning after collapsing during a training session in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Olowokere, who was among the fresh additions to the 3SC technical crew following the exit of the Gbenga Ogunbote-led team, reportedly slumped on the pitch during the team’s morning training. Eyewitnesses at the scene told The Telegraph that he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
As of press time, the exact cause of his death had not been officially disclosed.
