The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.
The announcement was made on Monday, August 4, 2025, through the council’s verified X handle (formerly Twitter). In the statement, WAEC said: “The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat for the WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025, that the results have officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025.”
Candidates who participated in the examination are advised to check their results online via the official WAEC portal: www.waecdirect.org.
How to check your WAEC 2025 results
Follow these simple steps to access your WASSCE results:
1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number
(This is your 7-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number. For example: 4123456789)
If your exam year is before 1999, enter your 8-digit number (5-digit centre + 3-digit candidate number, e.g., 19865001).
2. Enter the Examination Year
Example: 2025
3. Select the Type of Examination
Choose “School Candidates”
4. Enter your e-PIN Voucher Number
5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN)
(Found on your e-PIN voucher)
6. Click on “Submit”
Your result will be displayed once the system processes your request.
