The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Monday urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to stay focused on securing the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027, emphasizing that the President deserves a second term to fully implement his economic reforms.
Speaking as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, cautioned that it would be “tragic” for a future administration to halt the fiscal and economic policies currently being pursued by the Tinubu-led government.
“The most important message I’ll share today is that every APC member in this country should concentrate on the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, regardless of whether it impacts your personal interests,” Keyamo stated.
He further explained, “It would be disastrous for any government coming in 2027 to reverse these reforms. We’ve seen before how inchoate policies are introduced when such progress is disrupted.”
