The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced the suspension of all access gate fees at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
In a statement issued on Saturday and signed by FAAN spokesperson Dr. Obiageli Orah, the agency explained that the decision aims to ease the traffic congestion affecting airport road users.
The suspension will be in effect from Friday, January 24, 2025, to Friday, February 7, 2025.
The statement reads: “FAAN wishes to inform the public that all access gate fees at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, have been suspended to help alleviate the traffic burden on our airport road users. We deeply empathize with the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction and remain committed to ensuring a smoother travel experience for all road users.”
