Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, June 30, 2026

The Nigerian naira traded at an official exchange rate of ₦1,379.80 per United States dollar at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The currency remained broadly stable, holding within the ₦1,370-₦1,380/$1 range seen in recent sessions as traders continued to monitor foreign exchange liquidity and demand for the US dollar.

In the parallel market, commonly known as the black market, the dollar traded at around ₦1,385 for buying and ₦1,400 for selling in major trading centres such as Lagos and Abuja, based on rates quoted by currency dealers.

At those rates, purchasing $100 would cost about ₦137,980 at the official NFEM rate, compared with approximately ₦140,000 on the parallel market.

The gap between the official and parallel market rates remained relatively narrow at roughly ₦20 per dollar, underscoring the improved stability in Nigeria’s foreign exchange market compared with the much wider spreads seen in previous months.

Exchange rates may vary slightly across banks, bureaux de change and parallel market operators depending on transaction size, location, demand and prevailing market conditions.
