Gaga entered the ceremony as one of the top nominees, alongside Kendrick Lamar, Jack Antonoff, and producer Cirkut.
Kendrick Lamar, who led all nominees with nine nods, dominated the rap categories. His project GNX won Best Rap Album, adding to multiple awards for the rapper over the course of the night and reaffirming his enduring influence in hip-hop.
The Best New Artist category drew significant attention, featuring a diverse field including Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, The Marías, Addison Rae, sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young.
