Borussia Dortmund will host Bayer Leverkusen in one of the standout ties of the German Cup last 16, while Bayern Munich face a tricky away trip to Union Berlin following Sunday’s draw.
Defending champions Stuttgart will take on second-division Bochum, while two-time winners RB Leipzig host Bundesliga 2 side Magdeburg.
Elsewhere, Borussia Mönchengladbach welcome St Pauli, and Hamburg will play at home against Holstein Kiel.
Bayern, who hold a record 20 German Cup titles, have not advanced beyond the quarter-finals since last winning the competition in 2020.
All round-of-16 matches are scheduled to be played on December 2–3.
