INEC extends PVC collection in Anambra to November 2

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the ongoing collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Anambra State until November 2, 2025, to give eligible voters additional time to collect their cards.

INEC’s Director of Voter Education and Publicity, Victoria Eta-Messi, announced the extension in a statement issued on Monday.

“The Commission has approved the extension of the ongoing PVC collection in Anambra from October 29 to November 2,” Eta-Messi stated. “This decision followed a meeting of the Commission held on October 27, in response to numerous appeals from citizens and stakeholders requesting more time for eligible voters to collect their cards.”

Eta-Messi urged registered voters who have not yet collected their PVCs to take advantage of the extended period. The collection exercise will continue at all designated centres across the 326 registration areas (wards) in the state.

She added that the exercise covers individuals who registered during the recent Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Anambra.
