Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka announced on Monday that she has parted ways with coach Patrick Mouratoglou, ending their partnership after less than a year.

“Merci Patrick… it was such a great experience learning from you,” Osaka wrote on X, expressing gratitude to the renowned French coach.

The former world No. 1 began working with Mouratoglou—best known for his long-time collaboration with Serena Williams—in September 2023.

Osaka, who took the entire 2023 season off following the birth of her daughter, has struggled to regain top form since returning to the tour. Currently ranked 49th in the world, she exited the French Open in the first round and reached the third round at Wimbledon.

The split comes as Osaka continues her efforts to rebuild momentum and consistency in her comeback season.
