Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, sustained minor injuries in a road accident along the Daura–Katsina Road while on official duty, his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, confirmed in a statement on Monday.
Mohammed noted that the governor remains in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries. He added that Governor Radda is in high spirits and expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah, as well as to Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.
“I’m pleased to confirm that I remain in good health and high spirits,” the governor said.
“By the will of Allah, we were tested with a car accident—but Alhamdulillah, we came out safe and unharmed. Thank you all for your heartfelt prayers. Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah.”
Following the incident, the governor appeared in a brief live video from his residence on Sunday, saying he had undergone preliminary medical checks and was under observation as a precaution.
