The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced that its operatives successfully intercepted a large shipment of cocaine concealed within the walls of several suitcases.

In a post shared on Sunday, NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, revealed the operation and included videos showcasing the seized contraband on X (formerly Twitter). Babafemi expressed concern over the extreme measures taken by the smugglers, who meticulously fitted the narcotics into the suitcases with surgical precision.

He commented, “Narco-trend update: Strewing the walls of suitcases, in factory fitting precision, with cocaine, must have taken lot of efforts and resources but at the end #ndlea_nigeria officers still uncovered all as revealed in these videos that captured the latest seizure by #ndlea,” the statement read.

The video released by the agency depicted officers carefully cutting through suitcase linings to expose and remove the hidden cocaine.
