The local government election in Osun State is proceeding as scheduled, despite calls for its suspension from the Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, and the Nigeria Police Force.
Governor Ademola Adeleke was among the early voters, casting his ballot at 8 a.m. on Saturday at Unit 9, Ward 2, in Ede North Local Government Area (LGA).
