The Katsina State government has approved a new minimum wage of ₦70,000 for civil servants, effective December 1, 2024.
Governor Dikko Radda made the announcement during a press briefing on Friday.
This decision comes several months after President Bola Tinubu’s approval of ₦70,000 as the new national minimum wage, following extensive negotiations involving labor unions, the private sector, and the government.
