Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has revealed how he got the audio recording of cross dresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky.
The Telegraph had reported how VeryDarkMan on Monday honored the invitation of the House of Reps, to explain the allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS.
Initially, VeryDarkMan declined to testify, insisting that his lawyer will speak on his behalf. His refusal stems from Bobrisky’s absence from the probe.
Irked with his statement, the house Committee Chairman emphasized that Verydarkman cannot dictate the proceedings, including Bobrisky’s presence, as that decision lies with the Committee.
According to him: “You are not expected to dictate to us whether Bobrisky comes here or not, it is left to us to decide, we can also compel him to come before us we can invoke our powers to arrest him.
“We can compel Bobrisky to appear before us and even arrest him if necessary,” the Chairman stated. “Your allegations have led to the invitation of top government officials, so it’s imperative you speak to these allegations.
“You are here already to testify, I will advise you go ahead, don’t let anyone deceive you. To the lawyer please advise your client”. However, Deji Adeyanju, his lawyer, prevailed on the matter.
Speaking, VeryDarkMan gave account on how he got the audio recording, he posted on his social media handles.
According to him: “How I got hold of that recording is as a result of Bobrisky blackmailing somebody he owes money. According to the story and evidence of proof of chat that was sent to me,” he said.
“The person borrowed Bobrisky N4 million when he was in EFCC detention or rather in a private apartment. The person gave him the money on the 19th of June, 2024.”
