2027 Hajj: Seven days left for registeration, upload data — NAHCON

The Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Ismail Yusuf.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has reminded intending pilgrims that only seven days remain before the September 26 deadline for the registration and uploading of pilgrim data for the 2027 Hajj.

NAHCON issued the reminder on Saturday through its official X account, urging intending pilgrims and relevant stakeholders to complete their registration and data upload before the deadline.

“The countdown to the 26th September 2026 deadline for 2027 Hajj registration and pilgrim data upload has begun. Register early. Upload pilgrim data. Avoid the last-minute rush,” the commission said.

The reminder comes as preparations for the 2027 pilgrimage gather pace. NAHCON had previously warned that failure to meet the September 26 deadline for uploading pilgrim data could result in the forfeiture of allocated slots.

The commission said the deadline was based on the timelines for organising the pilgrimage, including requirements linked to Saudi Arabia’s digital processing of pilgrim information.

NAHCON also said full remittance of payments for allocated slots is expected by December 2, 2026. It advised intending pilgrims to make payments only through officially designated channels, including state pilgrims’ welfare agencies, designated Hajj savings banks and duly licensed tour operators.

The commission has continued to urge intending pilgrims to complete their documentation early to avoid delays as preparations for the 2027 Hajj progress.

The reminder came two days after Saudi Arabia rejected Nigeria’s request for an increase in its 2027 Hajj allocation, leaving the country with an approved quota of 50,000 pilgrims for next year’s pilgrimage.
