Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, July 30, 2026

The Nigerian Naira traded at ₦1,358.63/$1 against the United States Dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Data from the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) showed that the dollar opened at ₦1,365.69/$1 and traded within a range of ₦1,356.61/$1 and ₦1,361.25/$1 during the day’s session.

At the parallel market, also known as the black market, the dollar traded at about ₦1,400/$1.

Bureau de Change (BDC) operators in major trading hubs, including Lagos and Abuja, reported stable liquidity and limited price fluctuations, with the parallel market rate remaining largely in line with recent trading trends.

The relatively narrow gap between the official and parallel market rates reflects continued stability in Nigeria’s foreign exchange market. Market analysts attributed the trend to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s monetary tightening measures, improved liquidity management and stronger foreign exchange inflows.

They added that traders and corporate buyers continue to monitor demand for foreign currency as import transactions and international payment obligations drive activity in the forex market.
