The Gombe State Independent Electoral Commission (GOSIEC) has declared candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winners of all 24 chairmanship seats and the 240 councillorship positions in the just-concluded local government elections.
Six political parties—the APC, Youth Party (YP), National Rescue Movement (NRM), Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), African Action Congress (AAC), and Democratic Liberation Alliance (DLA)—fielded candidates in the chairmanship elections.
