A grieving father, Samuel Alozie, known as Promise Samuel on TikTok has mourned the death of his nine-month-old identical twin sons, Testimony and Timothy, who reportedly died about 24 hours after receiving injections at a primary health care centre in Lagos.

The tragic incident went viral on Wednesday after Alozie posted a video on TikTok showing the twins in separate body bags.

In a follow-up video on Thursday, Alozie, using the handle #promise.Samuel099, recounted the events leading up to their deaths. He said he had taken the boys for routine immunisation on the morning of December 24, 2025.

“The immunisation was conducted on the 24th, and on the morning of December 25, they died,” Alozie said. “After the injection, they were very weak. I gave them paracetamol as advised by the nurse, and my wife even bathed them, but nothing helped. They could not eat, play, or move as usual.”

He added, “My twins, my nine-month-old children, were healthy and strong since birth. How can they be gone just because I took them for routine immunisation?”

Alozie noted that the nurse on duty on the day of the last immunisation was not the official who usually attended to the twins. He also rejected preliminary claims from the health centre attributing the deaths to “food bacteria.”

“The nurse said it was food bacteria that killed my children. How can food they have been eating from one month to nine months suddenly kill them?” he said.

The Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Primary Health Care Board have yet to release official statements regarding the incident or the autopsy findings. Alozie expressed concern that the results might be manipulated to protect the government facility.

He issued a heartfelt plea for assistance, particularly from legal professionals: “Please, if you’re a lawyer, a human rights lawyer, help me. I don’t have the resources to fight this alone. Although the autopsy has been conducted, I fear the government will not deliver justice because this is government-to-government. I need people to stand with me. I want justice for my children, who died untimely deaths.”
