Ex-SGF Boss Mustapha denies defection to ADC

Boss Mustapha
Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has firmly denied reports claiming he has defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the opposition coalition, African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement issued on Sunday, Mustapha described the reports as fake news, emphasizing that he has not held any discussions with members of the opposition or their coalition partners.

“My attention has been drawn to a news story in circulation associating me with the opposition alliance and their choice of the ADC as their political party,” he stated.

“I want the general public to know that this is fake news. I am not in any opposition alliance, and I am not in any discussion with those who are involved.”

Mustapha reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, noting that he is a founding member of the ruling party and remains committed to its ideals.

He acknowledged that, like any political organisation, the APC faces internal challenges, but maintained that the proper course of action is to engage from within rather than jump ship.

The former SGF urged the public to disregard any speculation suggesting he had defected, reiterating his commitment to the party he helped build.
