President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday welcomed the President of Gabon, Brice Oligui Nguema, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The brief announcement was made by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who stated, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received Gabonese President Brice Oligui Nguema at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday, 27/06/2025.”

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, President Tinubu also hosted Queen Mary Elizabeth of Denmark at the State House, Abuja. During the visit—Queen Mary’s first to Nigeria—Tinubu emphasized the need for deeper bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Denmark, particularly in the areas of livestock development, veterinary health, and education. The event was co-hosted by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
