The Trump administration on Thursday announced the revocation of Harvard University’s authorization to enroll foreign students, intensifying an ongoing dispute between the White House and the prestigious Ivy League institution.

“Effective immediately, Harvard University’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVIS) certification is revoked,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated in a letter to the university, referencing the federal system that allows international students to study in the United States.
