Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦15 cut in petrol pump prices nationwide, with new rates ranging from ₦875 to ₦905 per litre depending on the region.
Lagos now pays ₦875 per litre (down from ₦890), South-West ₦885, North-East and South-South ₦905 (down from ₦920), while North-West and Central regions are at ₦895.
This price adjustment applies to all major fuel marketers partnered with the refinery, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.
The refinery credited the price reduction to its naira-for-crude arrangement, enabling more affordable fuel without compromising quality.
In a statement, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer Anthony Chiejina emphasized the company’s commitment to price stability, supporting the Nigerian economy, and easing the financial burden on consumers.
Dangote Petroleum highlighted that their fuel is refined for better engine performance and environmental friendliness, assuring that prices will remain stable and affordable.
