The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday elected a new set of national officers at its 4th Elective National Convention held at Eagle Square.
Professor Nentawe Yilwatda emerged as National Chairman, while Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru was elected National Secretary. Their emergence, along with that of other party officials, was confirmed by the Convention Election Committee under a consensus arrangement.

- Deputy National Chairman (North): Ali Bukar Dalori
- Deputy National Chairman (South): Dr. Benjamin Obi Nwoye
- National Secretary: Sen. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru
- Deputy National Secretary: Prof. AbdulKarim Abubakar Kana
- National Legal Adviser: Murtala Aliyu Kankia
- National Treasurer: Uguru Mathew Ofoke
- National Financial Secretary: Amb. Haruna Ginsau
- Deputy National Financial Secretary: Hammam Adamu Ali Kumo
- National Organising Secretary: Muhammad Sulaiman Argungu, OFR
- Deputy National Organising Secretary: Barr. Emeka Okafor
- National Welfare Secretary: Donatus Enyinnah Nwankpa
- Deputy National Welfare Secretary: Dr. Christopher Michael Akpan

The convention was attended by key figures of the ruling party, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas.
Party leaders and delegates from across the country were also in attendance as the APC constituted a new National Working Committee tasked with steering the affairs of the party in the coming years.
