Judikay has opened up about her painful experience with repeated pregnancy loss, sparking an emotional response from fans and followers on social media.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, the singer recounted a heartbreaking moment in February 2025 when she suffered another miscarriage after being over three months pregnant. She described the experience as “a pain that almost crushed me.”
According to Judikay, what began as mild cramps and spotting quickly escalated into heavy bleeding, forcing her to confront the devastating reality of losing the pregnancy, her sixth miscarriage.
“I was going about my day when I started experiencing cramps… then came trickles of blood. What I thought was urine was blood. It didn’t stop; it kept flowing, and I was devastated because I understood what that meant. Automatically, I had lost this baby… and that was the sixth time,” she said.
She revealed that she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors carried out a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure following what she described as a missed miscarriage.
Despite maintaining a brave public front afterward, Judikay admitted that the emotional toll persisted, especially in private moments.
“And I returned home, saying, ‘Yes, God gets the glory’… but in the silence of the night, I felt a pain I could not express. I would wail and cry, asking, ‘Jesus, where are you?’” she added.
The singer noted that her story, shared under the hashtag #MyYeshuaStory, is still unfolding, with many awaiting subsequent parts.
Her revelation has resonated deeply online, prompting an outpouring of empathy and reflection. Many users highlighted the often-hidden struggles people endure, while others spoke on faith, resilience, and the reality that hardship can affect anyone, regardless of public image or calling.
Judikay and her husband, Anselem Opara, welcomed their son, Joshua, in March 2022.
