Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, publicly expressed his gratitude to his father, billionaire Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, following a press conference addressing the recent DNA paternity controversy that trended across social media.
The Unavailable singer shared a heartfelt photo on his Instagram story on Thursday, showing him and his father smiling broadly.
“Thank you my loving Father,” Davido wrote alongside the post, adding a heart and praying hands emoji.
The message comes in the wake of Dr. Adeleke’s press conference, where he addressed allegations surrounding the paternity of a child, a controversy that has dominated online conversations in recent weeks.
According to The Telegraph, Davido has consistently denied fathering a young girl named Anuoluwapo. Her mother, Ayo Labinjoh, had publicly called for a DNA test to determine paternity.
