Ousmane Dembele and Aitana Bonmati
FIFA has revealed the 2025 The Best Men’s and Women’s 11, celebrating the standout performers in world football over the past season. The announcement was made on Tuesday at the awards ceremony in Doha, Qatar.

Paris Saint-Germain featured prominently in the Men’s 11, with six players from their Champions League-winning squad included. The selections highlight PSG’s maiden UEFA Champions League triumph and their run to the FIFA Club World Cup final.

Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, now at Manchester City, was joined by defenders Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes, and Virgil van Dijk. Midfielders Cole Palmer, Vitinha, Pedri, and Jude Bellingham also earned spots, alongside forwards Ousmane Dembélé and 18-year-old Spanish sensation Lamine Yamal, who enjoyed a breakthrough season.

The men’s selections were based on performances between 11 August 2024 and 2 August 2025, with votes cast equally by a panel of football experts and registered fans on FIFA.com.In the women’s category, Spain and England dominated, with seven Spanish players and four English stars making the final team. The selections follow a year of intense competition at both club and international level, including Spain and England’s clash in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 final and Arsenal’s Champions League victory over Barcelona.

Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton was named in the women’s team, alongside defenders Lucy Bronze, Leah Williamson, Irene Paredes, and Ona Batlle. Midfielders Aitana Bonmatí, Patricia Guijarro, and Claudia Pina earned spots, while forwards Alexia Putellas, Alessia Russo, and Mariona Caldentey completed the lineup.

The women’s team was chosen using the same voting process and assessment period as the men’s, evaluating nominees on their impact at both club and international level.
