Harry Kane continued his sensational start to life at Bayern Munich with a brace, while Nicolas Jackson netted his first goal for the club in a commanding 5-1 Champions League win over Pafos on Tuesday.

Fresh off becoming the fastest player to reach 100 goals in a top-five European league — achieving the feat in just 104 games — Kane opened the scoring after 14 minutes, calmly sliding the ball home to set the tone for a dominant Bayern display.

Raphaël Guerreiro doubled the lead six minutes later, before Jackson made it 3-0 just past the half-hour mark — his first goal since joining the German champions on loan from Chelsea this summer.

Kane added his second in the 34th minute with a rare solo effort, dribbling past the Pafos defence down the left flank before smashing a low shot into the far corner. The England striker now has 17 goals in just nine games in all competitions this season.

Despite the scoreline, the Cypriot hosts found a moment to celebrate. Just before the break, Mislav Oršić fired in a stunning long-range strike — Pafos’s first ever Champions League goal — to reduce the deficit to 4-1.

Bayern, however, continued to dominate after the break. Michael Olise, who had been a constant creative threat cutting in from the left, capped his performance with a well-taken goal in the 69th minute. The winger finished from a tight angle after Jackson’s effort was parried by the goalkeeper.

The final scoreline flattered Pafos, who were fortunate not to concede more as Bayern struck the woodwork three times.

The win maintains Bayern’s perfect start to the season — nine wins from nine — marking their best opening to a campaign in 13 years.
