Ayomide “Mide” Iwasokun, Elizabeth “Zita” Oloruntola, and Kayode “Rooboy” Olatunde Evicted from Big Brother Naija Season 10
The trio was evicted during the live show on Sunday after polling the lowest votes of the week, as verified by Deloitte and confirmed by M-Net. According to the official voting chart, Mide received 2.36%, Zita 1.5%, and Rooboy 1.49%.
Mide exited the house wearing a white gown and expressed gratitude to host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. “My journey started very chill. I didn’t expect to go as far as I did. I’m grateful,” she said.
She revealed this week was particularly tough without Bright Morgan, evicted last week, and that she had to remind herself why she was in the competition. Looking ahead, she shared, “A lot of acting because that is what I started to have interest in while in the house, so watch out for me as an actress.”
During her stay, Mide formed a close bond with Bright and celebrated her 24th birthday. The Ondo-born entrepreneur had entered the show aiming to use it as a platform for self-discovery and to launch an acting career.
Zita bows out
Dressed in a black gown, Zita was the next to be evicted. She thanked Big Brother and her fellow housemates. In a post-eviction interview, the 24-year-old model said she felt excited despite leaving.
“When Danboskid was evicted, it pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I decided to project my personality,” she explained.
She described her friendship with Danboskid as “sweet,” but said they would “see how it goes” after the show.
Zita’s time in the house included clashes with Rooboy and moments she later regretted. A student and content creator, she had said upon entry that she wanted to “inspire and entertain viewers while bringing drama and vibrant energy.”
Rooboy bids farewell
Before leaving the stage, Rooboy wished his fellow housemates “all the best.” “I feel so good. Big Brother gave me this nine-week platform. I’m grateful to God for everything,” he said.
The 27-year-old hypeman plans to return to live performances, expand his Rooboy Foundation, and support the football community. He also hinted at exploring acting opportunities alongside his entertainment career.
In the house, the Ondo-born actor brought energy and drama, quickly resolving disputes and bonding with housemates such as Imisi, Thelma, and Zita. At the start, he said his mission was to “lead the house with charisma, loyalty, and drama while staying authentic.”
Emotional reunions and road to the finale
This week, Big Brother surprised housemates with emotional reunions, showing each a family member behind a glass screen, drawing tears and hugs across the lounge.
When asked by Ebuka if he felt “against the house,” Faith replied that conflicts were often mishandled.
Head of House Sultana explained she saved no one this week to remain fair to all contestants.
With only 11 housemates remaining from an initial 29, Season 10 has reached its decisive stage. After the eviction show, Ebuka announced the “Top 10 finalists of the 10 over 10 season,” congratulating them and reminding them to stay focused as “anything can happen in one week.” Cheers and hugs filled the house as the finalists prepared for the final stretch.
