BBNaija S10: Zita dethrones Koyin to win week eight HOH title

Zita has claimed the Head of House title in Big Brother Naija Season 10, unseating Koyin less than 24 hours after he secured it in week eight.

The Monday HOH challenge featured the same finalists from Sunday’s contest — Faith, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Zita, and Kola. This time, Zita outlasted the competition in a tense showdown to claim the coveted crown.

For her reign, Zita chose Kola as her guest in the HOH lounge, granting him access to the accompanying privileges.

This marks the second time Zita has disrupted the HOH lineup. She previously dethroned interim HOH Doris in week four, when she also selected Rooboy as her lounge companion — a sign that she continues to use strategic partnerships to her advantage.

Koyin had briefly held the HOH title after winning Sunday’s two-part challenge, besting Faith, Bright Morgan, Kola, Thelma Lawson, and Zita. He had selected Jason Jae as his lounge partner, but his reign was abruptly cut short by Zita’s Monday victory.

Earlier in the day, Koyin read this week’s brief to the house, unveiling the theme: “Flying Solo.” Despite the title, housemates are expected to explore self-discovery while working in pairs to prepare cultural presentations on selected Nigerian states.

The outcome of their presentations will determine the house’s food supply for the upcoming week.

Meanwhile, Faith was named Most Influential Player, earning automatic immunity from eviction this week.
