The complete list of subjects under Nigeria’s newly introduced school curriculum has surfaced online after the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, shared the details via his official X handle on Wednesday.
Olusegun posted an image—unsigned and unmarked—purportedly containing the full subject list for both Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, stating:
“The new curriculum for Nigerian schools, which will commence from the next academic session in September 2025, has been released.”
The curriculum, unveiled by the Federal Government on Sunday, places a strong emphasis on digital skills and entrepreneurship. At the Junior Secondary School (JSS) level, digital literacy and foundational entrepreneurship are now compulsory. Meanwhile, at the Senior Secondary School (SSS) level, the curriculum introduces programming, artificial intelligence, and additional foreign languages.
