The Federal Government has extended the closing date for the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Correctional Service, Fire Service, and Immigration Service by one week.

Originally scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, the recruitment portal will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.

In a statement, the Secretary to the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (retd.), explained that the extension aims to provide more opportunities for interested applicants to apply for positions across the paramilitary services and the board.

“The Board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for applications has been extended by one week. This extension is intended to give additional time for applicants seeking enlistment into any of the Paramilitary Services and the Board,” the statement read.

Applicants are reminded that the official registration portal remains https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng. The board emphasizes that the recruitment process is completely free and is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent exercise.
