Air Peace to begin direct Abuja–London Heathrow flights

Air Peace has announced the launch of direct international flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports, starting October 26, 2025.

According to a statement by the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the move makes Air Peace the first Nigerian carrier to operate direct flights from the nation’s capital to both of London’s major international gateways.

“Travellers departing from any of Air Peace’s domestic destinations can now connect seamlessly through Abuja to either Heathrow or Gatwick using a single ticket, removing the need for multiple bookings or baggage re-checks,” Osifo-Whiskey said.

She added that inbound passengers from London will also enjoy easy access to multiple cities across Nigeria—including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba—with more destinations to be added.

The airline described the development as a continuation of its efforts to challenge the status quo and redefine connectivity in African aviation.

“With round-trip fares starting at just ₦1 million and unmatched domestic reach, this new service represents another bold step in democratising international travel for Nigerians,” the statement added.

The ₦1 million promo fare went live on Sunday.
